AirCheese Update: Instance Panel

It’s been a little while since we last updated you on some of the innovative features that make AirCheese, well, awesome. So, as we begin to finalize the development of some of AirCheese’s finer features, we thought we would preview them to the world. First and foremost, if you are new to AirCheese, get with the program. The AirCheese project is a social media monitoring and online reputation management platform that seeks to gather all of the chatter on the internet and bottle it up into one clean executive summary with actionable tasks and alerts. Secondly, if you haven’t signed up to get on the BETA list, you are missing out. Though we have been only allowing access to a few at a time, those on the BETA list will receive a lifetime discount on the service once we release to the public, so what have you got to lose?

Today, we are going to look at one of the most critical parts of the software, the dashboard instance pane. This is part of your AirCheese dashboard that all users come top upon logging in. It shows: the profile that you are monitoring (in this case mack’s pizza), the keywords that you are monitoring, instances where your keywords have been found to reference your website, other places that particular instance is found, and the time the first instance was found.

Additionally, there are two other important features you will see here. If the site has a particular ranking system, AirCheese will extract it. In this example above it is a star ranking system, but numerical rankings are also accepted. Finally, there is a flag indicating if the instance has been detected as helpful or damaging. This is determined by a number of factors including: Visibility; how well this instance is seen on the internet. Language; in what light were you mentioned? Was it in a bad way or a good way? Finally, there is a third proprietary calculation that is made (no, we’re not telling, muhahahaha) that enables AirCheese to mathematically “score” the instance based on other instances of your keyword on the internet.

You may hover over each part to learn just a little bit more about each particular component. We invite you to post comments and questions using the form below. We value and appreciate your feedback, because it will ultimately make AirCheese better for everyone.
